Hey guys, I'm wondering if you can suggest anything.

Basically, i was driving along normaly, shifted down to third for a roundabout, didn't even go past 3k rpm (so i wasn't going quick or anything) and the power cut off. The my car started slowing down and just rolling to a stop. I turned off the car, then tried to start it. It was turning, but wouldn't start.

So we got out and checked the engine quickly, nothing, then we moved onto the fuse box. The EFI fuse had blown, we replaced it with the spare and tried starting it again. Started like normal..

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this would have happened? I have a 4AGE in a starlet SR.. but it didn't cut off when i was testing the power. Why would it happen when i was driving normally?

Thanks in advance.

T

not too sure buddy, i had the same problem with my old n/a. it did this to me about 4-5 times, but it only started doing it when i'd been wiring in guages and stuff onto the sidelight wiring (for illumination) once i re wired them to ignition the problem went away and never came back!

hope this helps bud.

Ahh, thanks bud. Sorry for the late thanks, didn't think anyone replied to this post :(

Yer, i've asked my mechanic and he told me he's patch a wire through to the fuse.. he suggested trying a larger amp fuse 20 now instead of the standard 15. The 20 is in atm, hasn't blown yet, so let hope its the end of the problem lol. If not, he's gona patch that wire somewhere else..
