Battery Cable size

Afternoon,

I am fitting a new earth lead, and also running a short positive lead cable extension to suit a very small race battery.

What size cable would people recommend for both?

16mm would be well plenty.

I used 35MM Tri rated for both, abit overkill but atleast you know its adequate.

16MM seems abit thin to me.
