Brian ep91 Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 i just recently got this car imported it arrived with a jam fcd, greedy boost controller, blitz air filter, i hav just fitted a boost gauge and i am running 1.2 bar and i cant turn it down anymore with the controller i think the engine is standard as far as i know has anyone got any ideas why it is running such high boost cheers. ecksjay Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 the actuator cant be 'bored out', you're referring to the wastegate. the actuator may be adjustable and set to 1.2bar, as the turbo will only ever run as little boost as the actuator will allow, you can only physically go up from there with your boost controller, not down.check and see what it is, its easily visible so have a gander. it may have been modified or spaced out, have a gander.also, its greddy, pronounced 'gred' 'eee', without the gap inbetween ;)people are always saying greedy, its gay Quote Link to post Share on other sites
