How 2: Make DIY Lip

All, just thought you'd like some options (2) in DIY'ing a Front lip.

1. The Garage Door Seal

THere are different styles of Garage Door seals, as seen here on a recent model WRX:

2. The Ebay Spec Cut and Glue

The Live sports splitter looks awesome!

...but if you can't afford it...

The lip itself looks very similar to this:

For the bush mechanic minded (i.e. ALL OF US HAVE 'IT'), you could get an old GC8 model STI style lip EBAY, or cruise around WRX forums and pick up a bargain - the reason for this is because there are heaps of WRX's with Lips as opposed to EP91/EP82's with front lips.

- The old style would look better on an EP82, because the WRX is boxy and doesn't curve as much. However, you could use a hairdryer/heat gun to make the bend into whatever shape you want!

1. Cut to size. Start from middle, and work from there.

2. Silcon it or zip tie it or both

3. Spray gloss black or what ever colour

4. Mount and your done!

Following this means you can have any lip from any car you want....I have a lip off an EG Civic

Any other tips and hints welcomed.
