interloper393
Hey peeps looking into building a glanza track car and was wondering if anyones used the parts from the ep95(i think lol) to turn it into a 4 wheel drive? cheers
StarletRick
imo, the ep95 drivetrain is rather weak and wouldnt last long under pressure.
interloper393
Can they be reinforced in some way? or is it better to get another, say an evo one ( cus I've got a spare lol) and mod to fit.. ?
Boost Abuse
do they make a 4wd corolla? if they do could you not use the system off it and just chop it a bit?i dunno i'm no mechanic lol
Glanza_Ragger
Can they be reinforced in some way? or is it better to get another, say an evo one ( cus I've got a spare lol) and mod to fit.. ?Have fun modifying the chassis to fit the evo rear diff, there huge feckers.imo use the 4x4 starlet drivetrain and uprate what you need to with custom parts, it would save you a lot of hassle shaping the chassis to fit the evo setup. interloper393
well im up in Scotland lol, is there any other sites that a have more info on this? I've had 3 glanza`s all running 200ish bhp and the torque steer was terrible, im after more power so i really want the awd.. think i`ll import 1 of each n go from there lol.. GAZ@A&G_TUNING
mate depends what type of driving you do, if it motorway driving i would stick with the fwd and put a lsd in to help with the torque steer, but if you got country roads and nice roundabouts go with the 4wd,
interloper393
country roads and track driving bud, had a trd lsd in the last one n it still torque steered everywhere, looking at awd, 225 tyres and about 250ishbhp...
