paul w
Throw it away! It will help you in the long run to put some electronic management on instead. Thoses FCD kill engines!
Dave@TM-Developments.com
Throw it away! It will help you in the long run to put some electronic management on instead. Thoses FCD kill engines! Set up properly with supporting fuelling mods they are fine, although not ideal. The setting should be 7 or 8, hope this helps
joelgt
what do the numbers mean put it on seting 8 and the car felt slower
Dave@TM-Developments.com
The numbers relate to the voltage the FCD clamps the signal at. Lower nos = lower voltage clamp which gives higher fuel cut. Always best to start high on the FCD and work down if needed. Remember you should only adjust the FCD when tuning with a Wideband Lambda sensor, best left to an expert
WallaceGlanza
what do the numbers mean put it on seting 8 and the car felt slowerHave you got any fuelling mods to go with the fcd?
joelgt
dont know about any fuel mods the fcd was on the car when i got it and is set at 11 How will it damage my engine?
paul w
Thats how they kill engines! No fueling mods-FCD removing the safety cut off -turning up the boost -leaning the mixture and hey presto 1 fucked engine! Not saying you have a fucked engine but if you aint got fueling mods it's only a matter of time.
joelgt
can you tell me what you mean by fueling mods plus i have not up't my boost
paul w
uprated fuel pressure regulator, possibly injectors, some would say an uprated fuel pump but thats not needed. If you're not upping the boost then why have an FCD fitted????I suspect someone has already upped the boost before, then put it back to standard before they sold it on.
