Newbe Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Hammorite paint thinners and elbow grease worked for me Quote
Glanza Al Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Yeah use some thinners from Halfrauds mate.Al. Quote
59bhp Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 also try autoglym intensive tar remover, works a treat. That and get a thick glove on (preferabl a welding glove) and heat it slightly with a heat gun and then rub it off with your finger. Quote
addz Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I would recommend a hair dryer instead of a heat gun. Quote
59bhp Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 hair dryer wont get nearly hot enough,if you have a decent heat gun the temperature is variable anyway so its a helluva lot easier Quote
MattyCD Posted August 24, 2008 Author Posted August 24, 2008 ive got a propane blowtorch as it is, i'll heat it up from a distance and see what happens. Quote
