turbodreams
been to b and q, got a titanium drill bit, seems to be working.however, what i dont understand, if you look at my picture of the frames, which is a picture of glanza-loves frames as he had these seats.the metal strips attach to the frames, but are they held, it looks like screws/bolts, but dont seem so "attached" if you get me. turbodreams
the titanium drill bit lubed up with some royal purple works a treat, i made a hole through the iron in about 4 minutes, compared to before, took me an hour with no royal purple. stuff is brilliant. andy.i
75buck for a grinder! got mine for 9.99 out of b n q!remember if the rivets are stainless, make sure the drill is mega sharp as its a cnut to drill and if you heat the stainless up to much and let it cool it will become even harder and near impossible to drill! turbodreams
i used the grinder for about 10 minutes, its was useless, kept running out of battery after 10 minutes, turns out it was faulty, just got a refund, dont even need it now.smashed the rails off, and my local garage will do the other seat.
