Well ive been offered a spring - shock combo for my glanza that consists of kyb exel G shocks and Tein S-tech springs and i just wondered if anyone has any good pics to show the drop of those springs? also any opinions on this combo? will those shocks handle them springs bein only slight upgrade over stock shocks? cheers guys, starlybruiser :surrender:

Got same combo on my Paseo (uses same suspension as the Starlet)

here's a before and after lowering pic for reference

They handle a fair bit better than standard setup (less leaning round corners and less leaning forwards and backwards as you accelerate and brake) but retain a good level of comfort (not too harsh)

Fair play mate, that looks miles better now! nice drop, not too low, so they are still goin to be practical over the speed bumps :surrender: you recon the excel g's will handle the tein springs ok? i dont want to get them and then find a few miles later they have shit there selves lol :surrender:

Can't say really but should think they'd be fine?

My shocks were all brand new when the springs went on so can't really say how they fare over time

As for the drop, tis enough, but am still able to get over speed bumps fine (although have caught the exhaust tip once or twice on the bigger bumps)
