kyle_d Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hi, im new to the Glanza/Starlet scene and i am wondering if anyone in the Leeds area would be willing to meet up with me and show me around their car and tell me abit of info about them and maybe take me for a spin? If so that would be so good. I dont know much about cars so i need to get clued up and also i havent really seen a Glanza in person or been a passenger in one. I think if i was to go in one it would get me hooked and get me into saving mode so i can get my own I currently drive a 1.2 Corsa C and i was thinking of getting the 1.8SRI next year but i fancy something different and more fun. I'm thinking highly of getting one in a few months when i get my first years no claims. If i was to get one i think i would go for the Glanza rather than the Starlet so if possible i would like to see a Glanza owners car ;)Also, im interested to see where in my area these are as i cant say I've seen one around here before. I will travel to your house and just look around your car if you want, you dont have to take me for a spin ;)Sorry if this is in the wrong area, wasnt sure where to put it. Thanks a lot! Kyle Quote

Yeh I know the owner of the White glanza but only seen him once.Where do you live now? Would you be up for meeting up and showing me your car? :-) Quote

Would you be up for meeting up and showing me your car? :-)hi mateim just on the other side to you (the Tynwalds and Deanswood), Was going to get a house on Nursery Lane i saw and also Fir Tree but one of them needed quite a bit of work and the other didn't have a driveway or garage.Are you looking to buy a Glanza, might be selling mine soon and its a rare fully standard model (its never been modified as the previous owner was a parent in Japan judging from the kids stickers left in the car)I'll let you know if come up there.So what kinda stuff is there to do around the area where we live (i tend to see a modified Clio just parked near Blackmoor Road but hardly any other modified cars)Thanks Quote

I'm always round there, or my mates silver saxo VTR?I'm not looking at buying one yet i wish i could but 1) i need to get my years no claims which is June, 2) i need to save about £1000+ as i'll probs only get around £2000 for mine.Im suprised I've not seen your car, whats your name and how old are you? I've tried getting in touch with him to meet up but he works away alot.What engine is yours mate and is it a starlet gt looks real low from what i can see, what engine is it? Would you be willing to meet to show me the car at some point? Or are there any meets coming up soon around leeds that i could maybe just come to if your not up for meeting on your own.I was thinking of travelling to see Enzo as he sounds a really nice guy, but 4 hours each way is a bit too far lol.I just wanna see one in person properly!
