Just done a check on the mileage and it seems to show up in miles rather than km, is this just an error as the last MOT showed a mileage of 128,232 miles.

I was the first owner of this car when it arrived in the UK in total standard form. If anyone wants any pics i will try to find them.

I was the first owner of this Glanza when it arrived from Japan back in 2007 all in completely standard form. I will try and find some pics of it in standard form if anyone would like to see them. Thanks

The style of the advert and some of the wording is very similar to my Honda Integra DC2 advert from a couple of years ago.

That gearbox problem is a big issue in my view as it looks like it needs a new one and it is a major component of the car. I know you can get used gearboxes but it is a luck of th draw as some of them can turn out to be even worse. You can buy a new one but that would be ££££ If it had been something small like a wheel bearing or brake discs then that won't be as bad.

They don't even do body panel resprays, only window tints and car wraps.

hi mate How come you want to sell your Glanza fairly cheaply and buy another one (as you mention you've put down a deposit on another Glanza) Is there something wrong with yours, it looks good from the outside, however i've read about quite a few Glanza's fairly recently where engines are rough and require a rebuild or another engine putting in. Seems to be getting a bit more common too which has put me off from buying a Glanza again.

Hello all Does anyone know a decent and reliable bodyshop in West Yorkshire that could respray a rear bumper for me. I have had a look on the internet but can't seem to find any recommendations. It needs to be done well so it matches up with the other panels in silver. I would also want the car to be kept safe (as in kept in a secure indoor unit) over the 2 or 3 days which are usually required for the bumper to be prepped, primered and painted. Any recommendations much appreciated. Many thanks

Better off buying a remapped VW Golf GT TDI (around 170bhp), it will be just as quick or not quicker, better mpg and save yourself £1k - £2k. The guy selling the car seems to be on the lookout for a VW Golf Diesel too with the MPG on the BMW being a possible reason for selling the car.

If i had a DS or DSI i would have had this straight of you, but only got the Game Boy Advanced at the moment. Can game progress be saved on these?

Personally i prefer the White Auto Glanza which IAMLEGEND used to own.

Same here as long as its as clean as the owner says it is. The only other white Glanza for sale which looked very clean inside and out was IAMLEGEND's Auto Glanza (i think it was sold to outside Britain but in Europe).

I would have been around to view this lovely example, if only it had been running at least 220bhp and a forged engine.

I would advise the buyer to take this whilst he has the chance as Glanza's don't seem to be selling these days, plus they are quite a bit cheaper in Ireland (as little as £1k for a manal Glanza)

Hi guys, If anyone knows of any Starlet Glanza parts going cheap or even if you have spotted this car can you please message me and I will pass the message onto the other relevant topic poster. It's a close friends car from another car forum and was stolen last night. It's not your average Glanza it has green alloys and a one off front bumper and is running in excess of 300 bhp. hi mate Do you have the contact details for the previous owner as you can possibly ask him about the cambelt, it would defo save me quite a bit of money as i don't want to spend it on something that may have been done at the correct interval. Also do you ever go into or pass by Leeds as i would be up for a viewing. Thanks

hi mate the cambelt not been done at the mileage it is at is a concern as it will cost at least £250 to have it done (parts and labour). It should have been done at 60,000 miles. Also i see on the ebay ad that is has wiring for a sub, i have a fli 12 inch sub with built in amp, will it just plug straight in or could the plugs differ depending on sub? Thanks

They heavily overprice their cars to be honest, they would charge you around £8k to get a DC2 here which would cost them no more in £5k including car purchase, shipping, taxes, registration etc. Have a look at their website and you'll see what i mean with regards to how much they charge i.e a Celica GT4 for just over £8.5k. Their prices start at around £5.2k and that is for something like a 1991 Honda CRX.

hi mate What is the service history like? Has the cambelt been done and when? Does it come with any uprated speakers? Has the rear beam replaced as they are common to go wrong on these? thanks ady

It just seems on the low side for what the seller describes as awesome on fuel, if it got 600 miles to the £75 of fuel then that would be awesome. Around town the car would get mid 20's mpg which you could quiet easily get in something with a bigger engine and more powerful.

I know you mention the fuel but i would have expected better from a 1.4 as my Integra DC2 which had breathing mods and decat would get a similar mileage figure especially on a motorway/long run.

Is fitting included for the £90 if i bring over some wiring?
