Glanza_cl
I am getting my hybrid fitted next week, but also my valve stem seals are being replaced when the head goes back on i no i can just get a new oem one, but thought if i'm running the hybrid will it hold up ok? or is it wise to uprate the headgasket to an after market one? Steve GT
its wise to do it while its out but i dont think the hybrid will fuck it
ste91
Might aswell change it for a better one while the head is off rather than going for OEM.
Glanza_Ragger
If you take the head off, replace the headgasket with either a brand new oem one, or an uprated one if you wish.If youre only running a hybrid, just fit an OEM headgasket.Dont reuse the old one! Also worth getting the head skimmed obviously if you take it off.The mechanic should do that anyway. Guest Enzo
a new oem one is fine, but if you have the head off id advise getting the exhuast ports ported and the inlet ports mached to the inlet gasket, it makes sense whilest the head is off.loads of places do thiscylinderheads express is one such place
Glanza_cl
the reason i ask is if it's fine i will run the oem one as they dont cost alot, but if i need to uprate then it going to cost a bomb! zep cruise etc start from about £200!
Steve GT
Just get an OEM one thenits worth uprating if youve got the money as there stronger and less likely to fuk up
