The_Notorious_C_A_T
got my whiteline panhard rod today, and when unpacking it a small spacer fell out of the package?? any ideas where this goes or even if it was meant to be in there lol cheers guys, starlybrusier I just got the same thing with a white line pan hard rod.I assume it goes into where the bush is, think it's on the side with the adjustable side as if you look at it, one looks like it's missing from one side and has a metal internal, as one side doesn't have any metal in (non adjustable side iirc). BAZ2CRAZY
ive got the rod, and i got a little bag with some grease in it with a tiny little spacer, similar to one thats fitted in one of the ends of the rod. This isnt needed. if you struggle to get the 'un-bushed' side on, what i did was put it in the oven for a bit (you judge how hot and how long for) and then used a mallet to knock it onto the axle, went straight on.send me a PM if you need any help! mattgtt
found out that the little spacer goes on the axle end so the nut goes tight against it and not tight against the poly bush which deforms it!!
starbogt
I didn't use the spacer washer because the standard ones I removed were more adequate for the job as they were bigger.
mattgtt
i did that at 1st but deformed the bush so fitted the spacer behind the 1st washer then the nut and tightened it and was perfect!
