Tommy_G
Well i had a speaking from my brakes, a MOT on the way and i hadnt changed them since i got them so i decided to change the front brakes. This didnt stop the squeaking so i also changed the rears for good measure. anyway my brakes are still squeaking loudly, im pretty sure its the front. What could it be and what do i have to do to fix it?Tom
Ryno
any chance of a bit more info? when did you fit the fronts? what with? did you bed the pads in? have you given them a ruddy good going since?
addz
I have had this problem since changing disc/pads too, 3g disc's / mintex 1144 pads. Its annoying that they still squeak but its something i've learnt to put up with, a bit like the missus.
Starletraje
take the pads out and slap some copper grease on the back, should solve the problem
rob_bower
mine are squeaking at the mo i think its down to the piston sticking in the caliper but it stll passed the MOT last month!!
Tommy_G
well i fitted them both in early january, they were squeaking before and still are. What do you mean by bed them in....excuse my ignorance lolThanks Tom
Bourkey
You must not jump on the brakes for the 200 miles or so. It beds the pads or shoes so they glaze over. Then the brakes are more effective and last longer .Boukey
