GTalfie Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Ok so last night i hit a rather large pothole getting on the M275, and then my speedo hit zero and wont move. After around half an hour it suddenly rose as i accelerated to 70 then just stayed there, even when i stopped. tapping the glass made this go back to zero, but its still dead. I've had the whole dash out today, checked the connection with the cable and cant get it any better than it is but still nout :surrender: been told new speedo cable and its still in ok at the gearbox, any thoughts? has this happened to anything else?Cheers, Alfie Quote Link to post Share on other sites

GTalfie Posted February 20, 2009 Author Share Posted February 20, 2009 yeah that was my first thought but its so hard to get your hand in there with the speedo to push it in the back that i could only do it so well, and that was by taking out the centre console to slip my hand in from the side! any thoughts on how to better get it into the back of the speedo housing?
