That Dave burwash system is gorgeous.

Blueflame systems are pretty good for a comprimise between silencing and sound on boost as they have no presilencers, just a very large back box. Mine sounded pretty quiet in comparison to others exhuasts, but on boost it sounded very nice like most starlets do :drunk2:

I have another solution to your problem which I have done recently. I had a custom 4 inch back box made up to replace the blue flame when the baffles inside it decided to die, this new backbox is insanely loud on boost (almost deafening on over-run sometimes!).

Then what I did, was order a removeable 4 inch silencer insert from ebay, cost about £18 delivered from the states. These are brilliant as they quieten the exhaust down bigtime when just driving normally, it almost sounds like it has the standard system back on in comparison which is great for keeping a low profile :surrender:

Just remember when you put it in, make sure it is very very secure or you will almost definately lose it while driving. I speak from experience and will have another one on order shortly :)

Not too solid! I'd grease it up and then fix it in with a nut and bolt! Mine got stuck in the exhaust and took hours to remove!

Lol, your back box must have been slightly smaller as mine slid in like a glove, but needed securing badly. I made the mistake of not securing it properly and it must have flown out while on the motorway! :surrender:

Was an awesome idea though, cheers Idrees :drunk2:
