  1. Nice one, thanks mate! And I agree, driving + drum & bass/dubstep, a tasty combination
  2. Hi guys, The other week my mate posted a link on my wall detailing a DJ competition at a Drum & Bass night that's offering slots to the top 4 contestants alongside a pretty sick line-up. In order to win, contestants had to create a facebook page and try to get as many likes on it as possible by the closing date on 8th of May. I thought why not give it a go. So far I'm doing quite well in 2nd place, but competition is rising and there are some much more established DJ's competing. By the look of it I could be overtaken by the end of tonight. I feel confident that (if I won) I could put o
  3. Here's my latest offering, 30 minutes dedicated to two talented producers rising the ranks of the liquid Drum & Bass scene. I decided to turn the Key-Lock off for this one, I read it improves the sound quality somewhat. You may hear some small pitch changes here and there while beatmatching. Hope you enjoy it http://soundcloud.com/dj-phaction/phaction-fredv-grafix-special-dedication-mix Cheers, Alex
  4. Cheers pal Thanks man, I'm using a Pioneer DDJ controller setup with Traktor Pro software on a Laptop atm. I've got it so that it simulates a CDJ setup as I'd like to eventually start doing some sets at venues when I'm ready. CDJs seem to be the worldwide standard now! I've not used a vinyl setup before but I'd love to try it. A lot of big names in Drum and Bass use time-coded vinyl set-ups linked up to a laptop and use Serato software, even the top man Andy C is using timecode decks with Traktor Scratch Live now, seems to be a good way forward. So far though, most club owners/promoters h
  5. Nice one mate, glad its helping! haha cheers! I'm currently working on a liquid mix, dedicated to two artists called Fred V & Grafix (Netsky style liquid), watch this space!
  6. Hi Starlet people! I posted up something a couple weeks ago but I think it must have been lost amongst the database corruption so here goes. I've been into Drum & Bass and other electronic music for some years now. I finally decided to start learning to DJ in September, since then I have made some mixes. If you're into Drum & Bass and Dubstep I'm confident you'lll enjoy them (especially while driving!), I am constantly looking for ways to improve with future mixes so your feedback would be great. If you like what you hear, show me some support and give my Facebook page a like. http:/
  7. Here are some more snaps in the sun which lets you really appreciate the kind of paint that's been lashed on! And heres the Glanz with its new owner!
  8. Pretty expensive if your under 21! I transfered mine over from the glanz (£900) for £450 while declaring mods etc. I can afford to insure almost anything now that I reached that magical 21. Even a Murcielago is a "reasonable" £2800 fc.
  9. lol, my uni is about 6 miles away from my house, workplace 11 miles I thought about getting an S15, was so tempted by this white one, glad I went for this though! What wheels are those in your sig? Theyre very nice!
  10. Its a love hate thing, when I first saw it I instantly loved it! This is my daily! I dont mind 25mpg on the motorway and 15 in town. I did some good reading on them and talked to a few owners who said the same things, they are easy enough to maintain and as long as you follow the rules they will be reliable. lol @ the flooding, I hope that never happens! I've read the proceedure to deflood and it doesnt look fun lol, YOUR glanz now belongs to one of my good mates in Bristol. We might meet up tomorrow for a little photoshoot but I feel a bit bad as Galliano bought my camera the other week
  11. More than I planned to spend but it was well worth it and financially it made a lot of sense to buy a car already tuned and set up. I saw it for sale at 9k back in april and thought dayum, if only I had the cash. Then it came up for sale again for 8 just around the time the glanza was for sale! I got the price down nearer 7.5 region by picking out as many faults as I could but it was quite difficult. The last owner was a steel works engineer, really nice chap but had little knowledge of mechanics (although he did shell out for some brand new tein super streets to be fitted for comfort), a lot
  12. Spec updated I've already started modding it, though it doesnt need much doing to be honest which is nice for a change Just put some Hids in there and ordered a Road Angel today!
  13. Its been great with the starlet, I havent regretted pouring money and sweat into the Glanz. However I also havent regretted selling up as I now own an Rx7, a dream car of mine. This one's not your usual rex either, there are only 8 of its kind in the world, this is believed to be the only one in the uk, tuned by the infamous Re Amemiya in Japan. Still can't believe its mine! :) Body â?¢RE Amemiya AC037 front end (including genuine Porsche 911 (993) lights, FRP hood and nose cone) â?¢RE Amemiya AD step D1 side skirts (FRP) â?¢RE Amemiya AD Front Fende
  14. Rotary Heaven! Absolutely love the project too Gaz, best of luck with it. :harhar:
  15. The lad with the white Glanza + Blue Lipped Gt3s is Dom, hes on here, doesnt post much (like me lol) but hes very sound. We've helped each other out before with starlet stuff. I was thinking of going up last sunday but was quite busy. We could get something goin this sunday even? I havent been out in the G for time and I may not have it much longer!
