Okey, and again trying my best english :)

My turbo is smokey when idling, so the seals would be damaged...

I have a replacement ct9A for replacement, but the wastegate has a slight crack, previous owner said it wouldn't affect boost...

but is it possible to switch the ct9b (hopefully uncracked) exhaust side with the cracked exhaust side?

or do I need to replace the seals when getting them apart?

any help or info would be appreciated :)

Rico.

i don't know alot about turbo's but the ct9B and A exhaust housing is the same the only difference between the to turbo's is the exhaust blade the B has one more then the A but swapping would be fine afaik

if the seals are gone on the ct9A then when swapping over the exhaust housing it would be a good ides to replace the seals to

the ct9b seals are gone, the ct9a that I have was in fully working order when it was removed from the car.

the question for now is: when I want to swap the exhaust housing, do I need to replace the seals?

and does anybody have any pictures of how it looks like?

so I know what it looks like when going to swap them.

thnx for the info :p
