the-dalester Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 heat it with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive. when you've removed is should just leave some adhesive on the paintwork which you can get off with something like Autoglym bug and tar remover!just take your time so that you don't rip any laquer up aswell mark. DavidAshton Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 I found the best way was to heat it up (probably not needed in this weather) peel a small section back then use a credit card to cut through the sticky stuff. If you cut the sticky stuff as close as you can to the paint it leaves a lot less mess and is less hassle to remove the left over gunk. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
