Bride Seat. Logical Way To Fit It?

Recommended Posts

Im now sick of the standard n/a seats, i have always wanted a bride seat and if i was to buy one (second hand) and it was to come with say a 200sx rail

how would i go about mounting it to.... my starlet?

Thanks in advance

Mitch

right, i have recently fitted a bride seat to my Glanza and the easiest way that we found was to create a subframe from scratch. it came with no rails so you maybe able to modify those to fit.

in mine we originally planned to use the standard glanza frames to mount the seat on but this was nearly impossible, instead we cut some small box steel to make a frame on the bottom of the seat, then we fitted this to some aluminium lengths that we mounted to the bottom of the car. this was by far the easiest way that we found.

hope this helps you.

(i have some pics of the build up that i will try and get posted as well)

its all down to the runners really and how they line up to the standard mounting points!! when i fitted the fto seats in to the sr all we did was remove the feet of the fto rails and make new feet from some steel plate weld them on!!

by the way dude, forgot to mention that my seat is non-moveable. it is a recliner but you can't move it forwards and backwards.

this wasn't a problem for me because i am pretty tall and have the seat as far back as possible anyway!!!
