RobSR
Has anyone got a guide for doing this?!Cheers
Idrees
A piece of piss. Rip off the door card and the clear sheet thing, wind the window approx half way up or maybe a bit less and you will see the two 10mm bolts holding the window on. They're located at the bottom of the mechanism. If you can't get the window to move, remove all the 10mm bolts in the door to undo the window mechanism, once that drops down you can move it around so that you can access those two bolts holding the window on.Good luck, even though you won't need it! RobSR
Cheers mate! Can't really put the window down, so if I just undo the others ( I think there's 4?) it'll give me enough movement ?
Idrees
Yeah, think there's about 5-6..
RobSR
Righto... Cheers mate!Any idea on the rears... I know there bonded in so presume I need someone to cut them out?!
Idrees
Certainly. You can use cheesy wire, but are more likely to damage the seal on them. You don't wanna do that. I did it to my rear one, paid £30 for a new seal, and it would still leak water.I'd get it done by a pro, they have all these bendy blades and shit, they do a good job! RobSR
It doesn't really matter about the seal as it's got lexan windows going in.. But cheers anyway !Any idea on a company to use and how much they'll charge?Cheers again
