Dull And Hazed Headlights

right as some of you may know and proberly done it along time ago

but i thought i would post anyway just in case :lol:

well the headlights on my glanza v was really badly hazed which i believe to be due

to the sun and them not having uv protection

well machine mart do a headlight restorer for a snip at £23 so i thought i would give it a lil go

and i am really happy with the results

but on the downside it bloody makes your arms hurt lol

and this is how the finished lens looks now

Meguiars Plast-X is also fantastic for this, it's a polish made for plastics.

The haze is mostly on the outside, you'll never get them looking as new as it seems to be internal or in the plastic itself where the rest of the haze is.

Still a major improvement though.

Dude looks good, now you've done the hard work though I would advise getting some Phillips headlight bulbs as they prevent the yellowing of headlights as they have some sort of UV protection in 'em or something.

im just glad i could give some good advice to fellow / fellow'et owners and try and save us all a few quid

dont forget to show your results here as its better to get results from many rather than just one
