  6. What thread is on the wheel studs? (I know I shouldnt have but) I went to halfords to get some locking wheel nuts purely because i had one come loose and I've lost it. Police stopped me and warned me so I decided to get some. They went on 2 threads and then stopped. I saw some smart wheels nuts on an evo at a meet yesterday and they were 'ultralite'. Anybody got any? What size, could someone send me a link to the correct ones on the site by any chance? cheers guys and girls oh and they are on desmond regamasters if that makes any difference

  9. Thanks alot! £200 sounds very fair to me. Did you buy the kit then have it fitted or just take it in and they sorted it all?did it take long? Dave
  10. Right, Although I live in an area where nothing gets nicked I want to have a car alarm fitted to the starbo because I'm often seeing friends in shite areas of the country and I don't want my car going for a drive on it's own. Where can I get an alarm system from? Rough cost? Can I fit it myself (I am supposed to be a sparky haha) or is it best to have an autoelectrical company do it? if anyone could shed some light on this for me please cheers guys n gals
  11. Sorry Riko I'll have to pass. I'll get a brand new one for piece of mind. Thanks anyway
  12. Thanks Stew And you have no problems with yours then? I'd probably only go to 160bhp at the very maximum, and I don't dump the clutch. so this should be fine then? that's damn cheap aswell!
  13. I've done a search on clutches but I want to know what clutch people advise. mine has just started slipping. I'm not running much if any more power than standard. I just have a blitz nur spec system, blitz air filter and no catalyst and thats it. Looked on camskill but their kit seems to cheap to be true and my car is my daily driver so I don't want to be replacing it again in 4months time. where should I buy one from?I did think of going for a paddle clutch incase I do go for more power sometime but I'm doubting it and plus I thought it would put too much work on the flywheel (and they're a
  14. Yeah my firefox is doing the same. What's google chrome?
  15. Yeah i knew that they didn't leak. I just wanted a bit of chatter aswell when it dumps. what fin is in yours on your glanza? thanks for the video mate
  16. Just a quick question, Are all HKS SSQV's adjustable? anybody got a video of one on a stock starlet?
  17. Just a thought, have you checked the fuel pressure? I think it's meant to be around 40psi at idle. If the pressure is down it could be a blocked filter, dodgey pump or one of the regulators. If there's no power and its just misfireing try taking the reg. off the end of the fuel rail and check the diaphragm inside works (its the one that holds the pressure in the rail or returns to tank). Just a thought anyway mate, you're more clued up than me haha Dave
  18. Yeah I thought that mate when I bought mine and it annoys me everyday but I have been told it's normal, plus it stops once the car is warm

    Heater Matrix

I just replaced my heater matrix in my gt.Give it a go yourself is my advice! Its just a case of unplugging everything. And when you come to put it back together you can't put the wrong plugs together because they are all different shapes. Most garages won't do this job because they can't justify the cost of the labour. By the way you probably won't be able to find a brand new matrix, you will have to have the core changed but keep the same pipes.(£110) Took me two working days from start to finish and im a retard

    Heater

Does anybody know where I can get a brand new heater matrix for a GT?I don't really want to have it repaired because it could just crack in another place (after all its 15years old). Only ones I can find are for the uk spec and they're too small and the pipes are in the wrong place.
  23. Agreed!I'm obsessed with having my gt spotless!
  24. My matrix has gone too!And yeah you're right, you won't have any heating witht he pipes bypassing the matrix (that's what i had to do otherwise you end up with a wet floor).Give it a go yourself, I am!!!Although it is an annoying job.If your matrix is leaking try running some rad-seal through it, it may just be a little crack and then you wouldn't have to pull the dash out to change the matrix.
  25. Yeah but they want stupid money all the time.Any paint/body shop rips everyone off.Was just wondering if there was anywhere on the internet that's more reasonable. I can get paint of my mate but i want a really really dark metallic purple and don't know where i could get it.
