biggygt4
Hey. I'm a new owner of a tidy ep91 starship. It has a set of gab adjustable suspension. As the rear of the car is sitting a little higher than i would like. Does anyone know how to drop it a bit? i've noticed that on the shocks they have a knob and its set to 1?? any ideas, do i tinker with that? CheersRick

mcbeal
right gave the knobs a good twisting.... and F**k all anyone?that will be the dampening adustment, jack the car up and take the wheel off.if they are coiloers the spring should sit on a ring and the strut is threaded, wind the ring down the threads to lower the car and up to raise it repeat on all the suspension and hae the both rears at the same height and fronts equal...if your still stuck take a pic and post up here what the suspension is like and im sure someone will be able to help you

EN V
when i had my pulsar gtir it had gabs on and they was not coil overs so i doubt yours will be but i may be wrong.if they are not coil overs then its down to the spring that sets the ride hight so i would find outthe make/type of spring on the front and get the matching springs for the rear.the knob on the shocker will only set the dampening of the shock i.e.soft for normal road use to hard for track day usehope this helps youjohn
Sparky
Pretty sure GAB dont do coilys for the Starlet, the knobs your talking about is for adjusting the damping stiffness not the ride height.
