Blitz
Im a big meguirs man and love cleaning my car but i ve come accros a new product its called smat wax and ohh my god!! move over meguirs loli use smart wax's which is equivelent to the meguirs ultimate detailer and the smart wax is amazing it has a carnuba wax in it so as you clean your rewaxing your car only downside is your car has to be semi clean otherwise you wax over the dirt but i found a solution to this use meguirs scratch X to remove the stubborn grime and grease, then use the smart wax this leaves AMAZING results i own a white glanza and the amount of compliments i get since doing this proccess is unreal.i still use my meguirs ie the three stage ones a month ie: Paint cleaner, Polish, Carnuba waxthen the NXT tech wax when ever i wash the car.use the meguirs all metal polish on my stainless steel exhaust really good stuffoh oh RIMWAX on the wheels amazing, meguirs glass cleaner on the glass and lights. im a car cleaning freak lol
Bildo
Why don't you just use a wax like Collinite? I use this and apply 3 layers every 3-4 months and it still beads and shines after each wash as though I had just applied a fresh coat. These waxes aren't durable at all, they only last a couple of washes meaning that you have the wax the car most weeks like you said.It was a bit painful to read this:only downside is your car has to be semi clean otherwise you wax over the dirt but i found a solution to this use meguirs scratch X to remove the stubborn grime and grease, then use the smart wax this leaves AMAZING results i own a white glanza and the amount ofFirstly products like Scratch X should not be used frequently, and I certainly wouldn't be doing the whole car in it due to the way it works. It's made for getting rid of obvious scratches, not the swirls on an entire car. Using this frequently will cause long term problems with your paint.A car has to be 100% clean or else you're just rubbing any dirt that's on the car into the laquer which is then causing the swirls etc. Please don't feel I'm criticising, just purely trying to help you out. I have done a lot of research into the whole process and I'm trying to point people in the right direction.Nice to see another cleaning freak though.

It gives off a nice shine and its durability is far better than nearly all waxes on the market. It may seem expensive but it's an actual paste wax and I can guarantee if you do three layers of that every couple of months that tin will last you a LONG time. Here's where I get mine from:http://www.detailedobsession.com/catalog/p...;products_id=55What I would recommend doing if you're looking for that extra shine is getting Dodo Juice Red Mist. Basically, this is the equivalent of what you're using wax for at the moment. Red Mist is used on top of wax and is an actual sealant, so whilst giving the wax added shine and depth it also puts an additional layer on top of the wax for protection. Can be found here:http://www.detailedobsession.com/catalog/p...products_id=240Although the bottle seems small it's called "Mist" as it has a very fine spray that comes out and you only need to spray about 4-5 sprays per panel. A bottle that size would last ages if you were using it once a week after washing to just put a bit of added protection on to the wax layers.I hope that makes sense, let me know if you have any questions. Ive never used a glaze before but have heard only good things about the poorboys.I have only used the White Diamond myself but I'm told that the results are excellent. If you order any Poorboys stuff make sure you read the instructions for application carefully as it can really vary.

There are pics of my most recent detail in my project thread, and also StarletRick's S15 thread.DetailingWorld is a brilliant forum, some people are scary how into it they are but you can get some bloody good information from there. It's also a really mature forum and you're very unlikely to get any idiotic responses or anything similar.Did you get any Red Mist in the end Rob?

Smithy_dub
If and when you order the Red Mist, i'd advise getting the Tropical version, it's slightly different in that it doesnt evaporate in seconds like the normal version.. makes it more effective to use but the spray is still soooo fine, if there's any breeze you have to basically hold the nozzle against the bodywork..
