Squeak-Glanza
I hope some one can help me...Recently i have started to noticed a slight nocking noise when sitting still with clutch out, but when the clutch is in it stops. When you rev it the noise picks up just a wee bit too. I also notice a wee noise when driving, i have had a listen at the gearbox and it seems to be coming from the side were the gears are, could it be some bearing or that...If someone can help or point me in the right direction that would be great thanks.Squeak
ToyotaTech15
I'm thinking without hearing it, it could be a worn release bearing.A bearing in the box would whine when driving and not really make any noises when sitting still.Release bearing would be an easier Option than a gearbox overhaulGary
RobSR
If it makes a noise on idle then goes away when depressed hopefully for your sake it'll just be the release bearing, but you also get those symptoms when the centre section of the clutch cracks/collapses/chucks a spring out etc
