Lights Lights Lights!

Hi, yesterday my sidelights and all rear lights stopped working, as did the dash illumination, the main and hi beam still work as do brake lights and indicators, how ever i cant drive round with my foot on the brake at night!

anyone got any suggestions? when i turn the lights on the engine note changes when idling just as if they were working, thought that may help,

have you checked your fuses?

yeh check fuses mate first off the check earths, as of the note change on the engine the side lights shouldn't be noticable as they dont put that much load on the engine/alt were about are you could pos help out

hi guys thanks for the fast replies, ill check the fuses tomorrow, and the earths,

lukep its not that noticable but i can hear it slightly,

and im based in cannock mate 2 junctions before birmingham on the M6,

4 of my mates got starlets, so if i cant fix it i may ventur up if youd be willing to have a look?

yeh i dont mind but its a fair trek for ya but if you dont sort it i'm happy looking souldn't take long to find the prob as side lights are a simple circuit

i dont suppose if you know to a thread for wiring sidelights into my corners?

i wanted to do this so i can have them as USDM sidelights cause they are cool lite up orange all the time!
