Hks Mushroom Filter

just wondering if the hks mushroom filters are any good because I've been reading around a people are saying they are crap, wondered if this was bullsh*t or not

I've seen nissan skyline,s runing 500bhp with them on so they must be good everyone has own taste I've been told that the apexi air filters have the best filter rasion

I was told to stay clear of the foam type filters.

BUT K&N are the BEST and always will be. apollo kit or the 57i will really stick a rocket up its ass. Foam filters are a no no

I had one and it was pretty shite, the only real reason the bigger cars i.e. skylines, evo's etc run them is there such a small filter and there is never that much room with huge turbo's and intercoolers under the bay.

on a glanza/ep82 get an apexi/sard filter as ther readily avalible and are the shizzle

on a N/A K&N and more readily avavible so go with that.

Hks are Jap, hence why most powerful Jap cars have them

They do a pretty shit job of filtering. Often used because theres not enough space for a better filter, I think I might have to get one for mine too because I can't fit anything in the small gap from the turbo.
