Smithy_dub
Well, yeah..Ive been reading up on it all for months while im waiting to get a Glanza...And going by the FAQ'd, i know there's the premapped ECU's like the Blitz and Jam etc are that are rare as hens teeth and sell for like £400..Then i hear of loads of people running eManage Blue or Ultimate which, from what ive seen, are crazy money...Then on a couple sites ive seen this..http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/TRUST-E-Ma...Main-Unit-16779And was wondering if anyones using this model or knows anything about the compatability with EP's? Tobiah
go emanage blue over a blitz etc. well more useful in future. im td04 at 1.4 bar around 270 bhp and its running great.
Ricky@Race-Tech
Emanage blue is fine if you get it mapped correctly. It's not the best of ECU's but does the job 90% of times.in my opinion it's far better than the Jam/blitz etc ECU's as you cannot map them to the individual car. Smithy_dub
I plan to do the stage 1 mods to get the car up around 150bhp, then eventually go up to 1 bar with supporting mods..I may even go down the hybrid route but i doubt i'll ever TD04, so i'll just need a safe way of running a bar, id be aiming for anywhere between 180 and 200bhp.... Tobiah
emanage blue will be great for that. i was ct9 1 bar and had the emanage blue. didnt need fcd and sld either with it... now im on td04 at 1.4 bar and it still works a treat
Smithy_dub
Cool, thanks for the replies..So the emanage will remove the fuel cut?Do you need to change injectors or anything to run 1 bar?
scot-ish
not on a ct9 mate, noemanage set up well, is a good way of having it done
Smithy_dub
Yeah im thinking it will be worthwhile..What about a CT9 Hybrid? I might go down that route just for general reliability, i dont really want to go external wastegates etc though..
Ricky@Race-Tech
Just to be sure, you do understand the emange does nothing just by connecting it up. You do have to map it first.RegardsRicky
Smithy_dub
Oh yeah..But im just kinda weighing up buying, fitting and mapping vs. finding and buying a premapped.....
