ToyotaTech15
Hi mate,I take it you will be using that plug for a oil temperature sensor as there will be no pressure at the sump plug for a oil pressure sensor, Im not sure on thread size off the top of my head, think it will either be 12 or 14,Also the thread pitch will need to be the same or it will just catch the first thread and stop.Hope this helps a littleGary
Newbe
Yeah was going to use it for temperature sender. Might have to just compare a starlets sump plug to someone with a ford/vauxhall see if they are the same.ThanksMatt
WallaceGlanza
It's not a good place to have a temperature sensor as it's so vulnerable, you don't want it getting ripped out by a stone then losing all your oil....
Newbe
Yeah i thought about that chance of it catching on speed bumps and the like, do you know what size bolt i would need to mount the temperature sender like you have in the oil filter housing??CheersMatt
