Russleh Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 not amused. come home from my gfs to find the window on my silver starlet broken. think they tried to steal it but it doesnt run yet and nothing else was stolen. never happened to me before so how do i go about getting a new window and how to fit it. this might be in the wrong section. cheers for any help Quote
bucketep91 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 never had to replace the window in a starlet before but I've replaced a few others. its not that hard a job take the door trim off and get all the old glass out (i used the hoover at the petrol station haha) get a new window, theres a simple mechanism inside the door that should be easy to work out. last 1 i did there was 2 plastic blocks on the mechanism and 2 holes at the bottom part of the window you dont see and they clipped in there and that connected it to the regulator and held it in place.
