ToyotaTech15
I would check gear box oil first,If it's dirty, the wrong viscosity or not enough, It will have a two thick oil film for the synchronesh to cut through,Change that if you have any doubts, to 75w90Does it have a factory or aftermarket LSD? As that requires different oilHope this helpsGary

Would halfords own brand do the jobby ?And its factory gearboxThanks
ToyotaTech15
Ok, well it's not going to do any harm changing it, halfords should be ok as long as it's 79w90,If it doesn't sort it then it can be looked into more but oil is the cheapest optionGary
Idrees
Sorry to say but this is quite normal with the Exedy clutches. I've heard many stories of other Exedys doing the same, I've had two (Organic and a Paddle) and they both did the same. You just have to blip the throttle a little and it's changes gear fine. Idrees
Yep same here, I think it's just something your have to live with I'm afraid. Although it is annoying and sometimes prople will give you funny looks when you blip the thottle!
