B11G KY
Just took my girlfriend to the cinema the ride up was fine nothing wrong wat so ever but on the way back noticed the revs were pick up without gaining that much speed, last time this happend it was because my clutch was on its way out but the thing is im sure it was fine on the way to the cinema another big factor is i changed my clutch about 8 or so months ago surley its not gone again! i mean to be honest time to time i do drive fast but i always let ma car warm up and down and i never ride the clutch because i still got the bomb of an invoice for ma last clutch and know how expensive they are.im hoping scratch that preying its not the c word could there be low clutch fluid or somethin ???? Jae-Glanza
The car revving up without speeding up is definately a sign off clutch slipping, dont rest your foot on the pedal do you?
glanza_gemz
if you need a clutch i have 1 i could sell you!! its brand new!! cheapness me thinks gemz x
StarletRick
fluid levels wont affect the clutch like that mate. the fluid is only for disengaging the clutch, if it was low, you wouldnt be changing gears... but, if its revving and not going anywhere then it is something to do with the clutch. either the slutch disc itself or the pressure plate.did you change both when it was changed?
