Embedded Youtube Vids

Recommended Posts

This code works on other forums where they have a "youtube" button just like our "image" and "link" buttons etc - I can't see anything like that here.

(shifts to html and pastes code) and....nope.

This is the code they use: any way this can work? 'tis handy...

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=&quot;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D2bwkmz5hI&amp;NR=1">'>;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D2bwkmz5hI&amp;NR=1"></param><embed src=&quot;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D2bwkmz5hI&amp;NR=1"type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Hacked? What eeeeeeez this "hacked" you speak of?

You mean a "bespoke customer-optimised software" solution surely?

No hacking here. B)

I don't think that is pure html code there, thats why it's not used here codes such as %7Boption%7D etc etc are basic html codes.

Nope, stuff in [ blah blah blah ] brackets is forum markup, stuff in < blah blah blah > brackets is html. (in VERY loose terms).

I was a web designer for many (wasted) years.
