SiCaln
standard box can easily take 300bhp, and 160-170 is easy to get n bloomin safe - u could go turbo, ecu, exhaust route for safest or shortcuts a plentyget the fueling right and your set
h3ppy
cool............i have to beat my mates type r though!!!! will never hear the end of it as i tell him starlets have lots of potential but he doesnt rate them and reckons he will blow it away!!!!he has 220bhp by the way!!!!!i think the exhaust, filter, ecu, way would be best first off, and get a little more boost. i have read that the standard turbo (ct9 is it???) will take bout 11 psi safely, is that true???if you took out the boost limiter in 1st and 2nd, took out the fuel cut and done the above mods to 11psi and got it mapped correctly wat power would you have???i have alot to learn and hope you guys can help!!!!!! cheers!!!!! Guest Enzo
hey bro,yea starlets have shit loads of potentialboost cut is at twelveif you gut the cat and get an emanage inplace with those mods and a decent intercooler your looking at 185 +bhp , you should be able to just muller your mate in the type r on the straights in that trim, or it would be close for sure but the starlet weights alot less.if i had to think things through again id go for a td04 turbo conversion,an emanage + decent cooler your looking at anywhere over 200bhp get the internals done a 260+ is possible on that turbo.in regards to corners though ull need invest in a few parts to make your car handle just as good.
