Did notice a bolt missing from the the top intercooler bracket that goes through the bottom of the latch is missing, but not sure that'll be the problem!Any advice on what to check? Please help =]Regards
Jae-Glanza
by the way, its not the rubbers that you can wind it and out by the headlights neither
Russleh
u mean the bolt missing from the bit in the middle that when theres a top mount goes right down to the bottom because if its that bolt it could be that. the one on my other starler was cut to fit the cooler in and that bonnet dont close properly. used to have to slam it. think its because it supports the latch mechanism so when it isnt supported it just moves down the way instead of catchin the bonnet if ya get what i mean. Spoonz
yes wat he said^^^wen your closing the bonnet the mechanisum is bein pushed down instead of stationary so theres no pressure to open the latch for the bonnet to stay fixed
Jae-Glanza
Exactly what you both said, never thought that bolt would have affected it but searched the garage for one and pow, luckily it fitted and works fine now.The bonnet was pushing the whole latch mechanism down.Dont i feel like a dick ;]Thanks lads! uksc to the rescue!
