Engine Interference

Recommended Posts

I've got interference in my speakers, a high pitch noise matching my cars rev's, I'm sure you know what Iâ??m talking about.

I remember from a long time ago, reading that its something to do with the cables being to close to one another, the problem I have is that my battery is in the trunk so I've got little room to move them.

is there anything else I can do?

Loads of things but its wire related, our cars a very poorly earthed imo (hence the light flicker when the s l o w window goes up and the fan heater speed that changes according to revs)

Check your earths, add more, get some sand paper clean the contact points, and separate + and - wires....do you run a sub/amp? make sure its earthed correctly aswell.
