Running No Bov

Hi guys sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I've heard people talking about running no BOV.

How do I do this and is it safe?

just block off the vaccum hose that goes to the bov.

didnt run one on my gt and had no problems

So I don't have to take off the dump valve just block the little vacuum hose? I've noticed alot of people do it. Does it sound cool?

Yeah I want chatter but no coin for a FMIC yet . My old BOV used to chatter but got the HKS one now and it's getting borin. Far too loud! lol

i got my fmic.pipes with a welded on ssq blow off for £150 bargain i tel u .. nothing like a lovly chatter in the mornin

Now i'm just jealous. I loved the sound of the chatter from my old BOV but was too quiet. I think I might have a go at blocking off my dump valve. although its a little bit dark

Yeah I go to inverness some weekends. Was there last saturday. Name is misleadin, was originally gettin a glanza but ended up with a GT. Now i love it . How often are you out in your GT?

Its a black quadlight with blacked out rear lights, blacked out front indicators and black wheels. I like black . I think I might have seen yours but like last year.

I thought about gettin a light to block my bov but last night I tried adjustin my actuator with my phone in one hand and pliers in the other Didn't work out so well. Hence why I have no boost at the mo

BOV is attached to the turbo to intercooler pipe if that makes sense lol

Hmm not sure i'm a bit new to the whole turbo thing.

You have one pipe from your turbo to the inlet mani. Then there is the one that comes down the front and connects to the turbo but there is a little pipe that comes off that which has my bov on it. then there is a little vacuum hose that comes off the bov and goes to where ever. I'm not sure where.
