  1. I ordered a clutch on Friday 2nd Sept and got an order confirmation but since then I haven't heard anythinG. No dispatch email and no payment taken. I've emailed them 3 or 4 times but got no reply and tried to call the number on their site but it says it's not recognised. Is this a normal thing with them? Are they just unbelievably bad at customer service?

  7. definitely on fully. I used the whole sachet of grease on it and gave it a quick spread around then stuck some on the axle. Probably didn't put enough inside :-(
  8. I changed my cv boot today then took it for mot. Went through fine but i've just noticed a clicking sound coming from the same side I changed the boot on. Could I have done something wrong when I changed the boot thats made it go? Or could it be something else?
  9. Just got the standard tmic. Got a front mount but no pipework lol. Not checked wastegate for cracks yet so i'll do that and re-fit the pipes. Tried spraying wd40 and then soapy water over all vac pipes and intercooler pipes but couldn't see anything. Plug and play was run in right, I had a look on here for the thread about it. Let it idle for 25 mins, gave a few blips of the throttle, let it idle again, took for a gentle drive and eased the boost on at first. @Mark. I'll come through next weekend if thats okay? got to go for a re-test for mot. Failed on some stupid stuff. cv boot and that. I
  10. I just got a plug and play ecu so wanted to turn the boost up using adjustable actuator. It currently only boosts to 0.5 then creeps to 0.8. I took the actuator off but it's already wound in as far as it can be but only 0.5 bar boost wtf. I've also noticed that my idle is a bit high, about 1200. Boost guage also reads -0.7bar on idle, is that normal? I've looked at all the pipes and sprayed wd40 around them but nothing happens. It's really starting to annoy me now.

  12. Car failed on both front brake caliper securing devices were loose, Offside cv boot split and offside steering rack gaiter split. Where can I get the cv boot and steering rack gaiter for as cheap as possible?

  16. Tbh he didnt really seem to have a clue. Tried to tell me that only cars registered before 1992 didnt need a cat. Then I pushed him on it and he ended up saying to bring proof. Can't seem to find anything online. Thanks Starbuck i'll probably say that when I go in although I don't want him thinking i'm being funny. Just want the car MOT'd soon as I've got a mines ecu on the way:D
  17. Hi guys. I phoned the garage up to book an MOT and explained to them that I should only need a basic idle test as my car is an L reg GT. The mechanic said that he wasn't sure without checking his paperwork and said if thats the case I need to take some sort of proof but what can I use??

  19. Right so when I bought my car it had Monza shocks and the seller said it has rsr springs. My back shocks were leaking so I recently bought some kyb shocks, the normal looking black ones with a red sticker (dunno exact model lol). My car always looked lowered but not too much like 40mm or something but I changed the back shocks and it sits really high at the back:S I compared the two sets of shocks and the monza ones are defintely shorter by about an inch so does this mean my car was only lowered because of the shocks and that I have standard springs??
  20. ive got hks actuator and mine does the same. fine in fifth but get crazy boost creep in all other gears.
  21. I did wire it in correctly. I used the wiring diagram from a thread on here. I'm thinking it could be broken
  22. Got my fcd and rrfpr on today but i'm still hitting fuel cut. Csn anyone help? I've tried settings 6,7,8 and 9. When on 6 my car seemed to loose a whole lot of power after about 4000 revs. Oh and the fcd is wired in correctly.
