I would put the standard intake on but the guy who I got it from never gave me it. Also I was told the wastegate was ported when I got it

Cheers for that . sucks though because I really want to cure the boost creep. Just need to think of a way to get rid of the creep as its alot. Think getting an new ecu would help as I dont mind it creeping to a bar so long as i'm not getting fuel cut?

Right I've just fitted my hks actuator but adjusting it is harder than I thought. I got it as I was hitting fuel cut in 3rd and 4th. So I thought I would be able to adjust the actuator to hold about 0.8 bar. However the only thing that adjusting seems to be changing is how fast it spools up. Anyone got any tips because the instructions all came in jap?

This thread has worried me now lol, my rocker cover breather filter has a lot of oil in it and my car sounds really deep. bit like a scooby. I just thought it was my exhaust

Does it sound a bit like a supercharger? I had a boost leak a couple of days ago and thats what it sounded like

Thanks guys makes me feel so much better. All my mates were tellin me my engine is fooked so got a bit worried. Hopefully the warmer weather will make it go away. Only noticed it over winter.

Might have to be a fmic then because i've got a relocated filter but its tiny. Don't know what the guy was playin at when he decided to fit it. Theres like an inch of surface area. Think he must have had a halfords fit or something lol

yeah I get that feeling alot. They are all old and hate the fact that my car is loud . I see the curtains twitch whenever I'm doing something that might involve a few revs.

lol neighbours must think i'm crazy then. Whenever I decide to fiddle with my car its usually in the dark. Last night I was out cleaning my engine bay in the dark. Also crawling around on the ground looking for the cir clip I lost from my actuator I don't see what all the fuss is about blanking off dump valves though lol. Mine just sounded like a car without a turbo. Wheres the fun in that!

This is really loud though. It just seems strange. i've heard other cars tick before but mine is alot louder

if I change the injectors will it stop? probs nothin to be worried about just really annoying

got a ticking sound coming from near my inlet mani. only does it when idling. Anyone know what this is?

right I have blocked the end that leads to the inlet mani. just roughly for the moment. But what do I do with the end that connects to my dumpy?
