You could start your policy with elephant early. I'm with Bell (basically the same people) and I was in the same position. I had sold my old car then had my years ncb coming up. Bell told me I could start my insurance with them before my ncb because they didnt need proof of me having it for like 30 days.

Hmm not sure i'm a bit new to the whole turbo thing. You have one pipe from your turbo to the inlet mani. Then there is the one that comes down the front and connects to the turbo but there is a little pipe that comes off that which has my bov on it. then there is a little vacuum hose that comes off the bov and goes to where ever. I'm not sure where.

BOV is attached to the turbo to intercooler pipe if that makes sense lol Would post a pic but I don''t know how.

Its a black quadlight with blacked out rear lights, blacked out front indicators and black wheels. I like black . I think I might have seen yours but like last year. I thought about gettin a light to block my bov but last night I tried adjustin my actuator with my phone in one hand and pliers in the other Didn't work out so well. Hence why I have no boost at the mo

Now i'm just jealous. I loved the sound of the chatter from my old BOV but was too quiet. I think I might have a go at blocking off my dump valve. although its a little bit dark

Yeah I want chatter but no coin for a FMIC yet . My old BOV used to chatter but got the HKS one now and it's getting borin. Far too loud! lol

So I don't have to take off the dump valve just block the little vacuum hose? I've noticed alot of people do it. Does it sound cool?

Hi guys sorry if this is in the wrong section. I've heard people talking about running no BOV. How do I do this and is it safe? Sorry bit of a dunce with turbos lol.

I Just bought a GT and I'm getting too much creep aswell. The guy I bought it from said it had an adjustable actuator and the wastegate was ported. Its got a relocated filter s/s mani and decat. It holds at about 0.7 if i put the foot down in 5th but if i'm in 3rd or 4th it hits fuel cut far too easily. How can I sort this?

Found a quote with admiral for £1009 fully comp so guna take that:D My Focus was pretty much standard just a set of team dynamics wheels koni springs and a piperx kit thats bout it. Sold it Monday so will hopefully have a starlet this weekend:D

I think I might give up on getting a Glanza and get a GT Turbo as I can get insured on one fully comp for £1100 with Admiral. Nobody seems to want to quote me on a Glanza. Any one know why? Same engine aren't they?

Could be print out from previous owner ;) not too sure about the whole thing. He's now told me on the last mot it had advisories of wheels bearings needing replaced. Starting to sound like it may take a bit of work. He wants to meet saturday so it might be worth a look even if it is quite a bit away. Any ideas if insurance will be expensive. I'm 18 with 1 years NCB???

yeah you're right it needs a lock and window. Know some that has done this for a starlet they used to have and said it isnt a big or expensive job. Although I dont want to travel 400 miles for it to not be very good.

Hi guys, i'm looking to get my first starlet. Got a focus at the moment and either going to sell or swap it. I've had an offer by some one from piston heads to swap this weekend. Im not too sure about it though. It looks almost too good to swap for. The person advertising it is only looking for 3000. It has forged pistons and a hybrid turbo etc. Running over 200bhp with 52,000 miles on it What do you think?
