People Who Rent/borrow A Garage

Seen people on here who rent a garage off people they know or somebody on a street near by, was wondering how you found the garage did you just knock on door and ask? and offer them some money per month? Im after a garage to use but not sure how to go about it really. Strange thread i know but i know some people do rent garages ect...

maybe put a wanted post in your local news paper or check little notes through peoples doors. that may help you

Ye local newspaper or local newsagents or something might be your best bet.

Maybe speak to the council see if they have any near you to rent.

I went to my local coucil housing office and asked about lock ups

I pay about £20 a month for mine

Is yours a nice decent size or just a standard council garage where you can just about fit the car in?

Ahh just like what im using atm off a bird i know round the corner from my house but she got sick of chasing me up for the £10 a month i was paying and now i pay nothing

But im looking for a unit/barn where i can store about 4 or 5 cars in my area and its proving pig to find.

I pay £15 a month to a friend of my mom's friend.

It's only a small garage just about big enough to fit the car in but it does the job and it's only a 10 minute walk from my house.
