Oil Light Flickering

hi i have a ep82 and my oil light comes on around 1500 rpm so just wondering if these engines have oil pump problem and do they have two oil switch if not what is the sensor http://s765.photobucket.com/albums/xx295/k...20022010520.jpg

That is the knock sensor. Oil switch is below the clutch slave

thanks for that on your site about the oil pump it it asks if the seal is in the block or the pump is there any way to find this out or has it got to be striped down or can u go on the year of the car, model number

Always best to check first mate. I would try a new switch first

o yea forgot to say i put a new switch new oil fillter and new oil so it got to be the pump and can u tell what pump i need but just taking the cam belt and bottom pully off

alway best to check oil strainer to in the sump i've had it on two of my cars when i've put decent oil in and its dislodged shit off the inside of the engine.

You have to remove the pump
