bevie
hi im needing to get new rear shocks at a decent price. i seen the KYB excel G-Gas shock absorber (http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m19b0s1311p4255). Are they any good to be used with tein lowering springs? and is there any difference in the fitment for the rear shocks between a 1994 model and a 1990 model as they are listed seperatly and at different prices?thanks

JAG
I've got spax springs n KYB shocks all around I've had them on mine a little under a yearThe Spax springs are quite hard and the 40mm (ones I've got) drop the front perfectly but the back could do with going a few more mil lower imo.My excel G's has been playing silly buggers recently and my back end is making a retarded banging noise, but the shocks still seem fine... Someone said it could be my topmounts which have died which wouldnt surprise me as the spax springs are pretty hard.
