Ryan-11 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 i didnt like it.x2 mines didnt hold boost and half the time never worked, ended up throwing in the bin Quote
chr15_7_t_ Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 i was gna buy that exact one got warned not to and to buy a second hand one but a beter make like hks, greaddy or apexi.glad i never now everyone seems to be against them..ther boost gauges are cool though Quote
Seb Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Same as here mate. Never held boost then wouldnt adjust on either setting. Complete waste of time in my opinion, and to think we brought 2 at the time Quote
Steve GT Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 haha dont buy one off dominodom thats all im saying ask mickey hahapersonally i dont know much about these but I've heared that these are crap and stay away from them but as i said i personally have never had one Quote
B11G KY Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 thanks for all your comments guys! its a shame i thought the looked great and thought HDi would of been a good brand Quote
Nick@TD.co.uk Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Yeah we dont advise customers to purchase the HDI EBC units, theres alot of cheap brands out there at the moment which use the same solenoid and they just dont control boost well.If you want to find a good quality boost controller that does what you want it to then try a Blitz or HKS, drop us a message if you need anymore info.Kind Regards,Nick JonesTuning Developments LtdWorkshop Landline - 01925 822266TuningDevelopments@Hotmail.comwww.tuningdevelopments.co.uk Quote

The_Notorious_C_A_T Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I quite like my aem boost controller, and it's a gauge as well. Not badly priced either. Quote
B11G KY Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Gizzmo hey? are the user friendly i mean is it easy to adjust boost and that? Quote
DavidAshton Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 ^^ Very user friendly, there is only 2 buttons. Press and hold one buton and you can adjust the duty up and down, press and hold it again and you can adjust the gain up and down. Press it again and its done. Quote
B11G KY Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 I need this in my life! see one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...s%3DI%26otn%3D2£169.99 anyone know anyware cheaper? Quote
DavidAshton Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 To be honest your probably better off going for the ms-ibc, more features than the ibc. Also the ms-ibc has a proper decent boost cut function, if you over boost it actually cuts boost rather than just flashing at you like most others do. So if anything every went wrong and you were going to overboost it stop it. Also has the scramble function which is pretty cools. Quote
B11G KY Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 See somthing else i still dont understand! Quote
