lobotomy
Paddle clutches rattle -- it's quite common. My mate was told his car had a paddle clutch though and that's why it rattled, but it turned out to be the release bearing! So you'll need to watch out.

lobotomy
How many paddles does this clutch have? The more paddles the easier it will be to use because if you can imagine it's more like an ordinary clutch. My mates was a 4paddle twin plate jobby -- and it's a bitch to use.It helps to rev slightly on down shifts too ;)
ecksjay
Ogura ORC paddles make a horrific scratching noise when you engage them. ;)

lobotomy
Sounds like it might take a well developed left leg to use mate -- but should be fine!
