turner1989
Hi I am new to this site, i am thinkin of importing a glanza from japan for just shy of £3000, is it safe to do so?Cheers
Glanza_cl
Hiya mate, welcome to uksc yeah dependant on the company importing the glanza it perfectly safe. but the £3k will soon become alot more once it lands and you have to register, mot, and pay various shipping/docking taxes.unless its super modded and done to a good level i think it will be much more financially feasible to just buy an already imported one.with £3k you can pick up a pretty nice one already taxed, mot'd and road worthy.have a look at www.glanza.co.uk. he imports glanza and will be able to help or just give you advice (also view the website with firefox, not IE)but if you want to import one go for it mate, just be prepared to pay more and have to wait a fair old while, but it's all part of the experience
Bourkey
Howdy,I would highly recommend you get a company to do it with an "on the road" price as there are so many extras at the docks/before you can drive it here. As said, all the small little bits you pay for add up so you could easily fly up to £4kWhat i would recommend before you consider importing, have a scout about to see if you can find a fresh import with uk plates/tested and ready to go. Sure you will save some money doing it yourself but the hassle just isn't worth it in my opinion.Bourkey
