benjie
So the long threaded nut that screws into the tranny separated from the cable. I tried forcing it in and it help for about ten miles and then separated again. Any ideas on what I can use to keep the rubber in the nut? Adhesives?
Galliano
Thats a tough cookie that. Have you considered replacing said cable and nut? Might be easier than having a bodge job, and would save you the hassle in the future.Just a thought.
Guest Enzo
This has happened to me also in the past have you thought about replacing it with one from a breaker? It would not be hard to replace.
benjie
I am thinking about buying one but I don't think they come with the fire wall grommet and I am wondering how difficult it is to get the grommet over the cable end. I might try to take one off a tercel seeing as the paseos are a little rare around these parts.
