JUst taken my rocker cover of to change the PCV and there is a sort of second skin or cover on the inside which stops me from being able to get to the pcv from behind, how do i take this second skin off and is it needed if i cant get it back on?

if this makes any sense lol

need help quick please guys

You dont take that second skin off lol you just pull the pcv valve from the top of the rocker cover....then with your new pcv valve just push it back in lol

just get something to pull the rubber thing out with aswell because they cheap to replace and maked gettin it out easier. for me it did anyway.

done it but im still having a massive cloud of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust when the car ciomes of boost?

thought i would change PCV and work my way from there

any one have any idea?

blue smoke is burning oil, so if you are 100% you got the pcv valve fitted correctly it could be the oil seals on the turbo that are going... is it only when you come onto boost you get blue smoke?

yeah its blue smoke coming of boost but the cars oil level has not dropped since i got the car 3months ago

i no there is a gearbox oil leake which is being sorted tomorrow but that wouldnt have anything to do with it
