starletgt troy Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Hello im looking for a little bit of advice.... i have a ported standard manifold and a stainless steel manifold which i got off ebay. When i looked at the stainless one the diameter of the runners are greater than the exhaust output on the cyclinder head, so would this not cause lag in throttle response and decrease in torque?So hence my confusion about which manifold to use??Cheers in advance Troy Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 i made the misstake of gettin a cheap one of ebay that was supposed to have 3mm thick runners thinking it should be ok if its 3mm. once i got it i checked thickness with a micrometer and it was 1.3mm not 3mm. got straight on tinternet nd got a refund.they agreed to refund me straight away without question as if they knew that theyd sent me the thin monkey metal shit and was hoping i wouldnt check.
